They might play there then. Just keep in mind that if this stadium renovation stuff is true then we could be seeing a 90,000 seated Kolkata derby in a beautiful Salt Lake Stadium in a few years... we just need to be patient.

Stop the useless discussion guys. 
IMG has no hand in it. The stadium is in a pathetic condition and it will take at least 2 years for it to be completely renovated.

YBK renovation, as per post IFA-GoWB Meeting statement:

• This is to make the stadium eligible for U117 WC
• Renovation will go on simultaneously with I-league and ISL
• external and some internal work will start within two weeks
• two international level dressing rooms
• 250 capacity Media Tribune at upper tier
• 4000 capacity VIP Enclosure
• construction of two floodlit practice grounds inside the premises
• installation of 85,000 bucket seats
• strengthening of fencing and removal of squatters
• turf changing at second stage (May - September 2015)
