Very few games start at 10 PM in Spain. UEFA / Champions League games I think start around 9 PM local time there. They have to take into account Prime Time TV ratings and concerns of the Sponsors. Besides that, they have to also look at suitable timings for their overseas audience.
4-30 games on saturday would be good! Will get over by 6-30 which will give plenty of time to enjoy rest of the Sat. evening and night and will definitely please the young urban crowd .
Much as ISL has taken it's share of the limelight and revenue etc. It has forced Clubs to think outside the box.
DSK Cup for mainly 2nd Division teams like Gangtok Himalayan & (DSK ?) ...has seen the likes of Dempo / Salgaocar / BFC test themselves sans their ISL stars.
Sheikh Jamal Cup has enabled East Bengal & Mohd Sporting to do the same.
SHILLONG PREMIER LEAGUE & MPL has kept the NE teams on their toes too. With both SLFC & RWFC giving opportunites to Youth
As they say....necessity is the mother of invention...
Indian football need more regional based events ( would prefer mini-leagues rather than such tournaments ) Surely clubs like PFC and KBFC could've been moee proactive and done this rather than sulk
@munna, IPL matches end around 11.45 PM in all cities. So, a 10PM match will also be ending at a similar time. There are places that can support a 10PM schedule but that's required only when ISL expands to 16/20 teams. As of now, better prime time slots are there.
Gangtok still contacting about players...they need a foreign striker he said Rakesh Masih and Karan Atwal have signed recently... Expect some Sunday / Monday / Friday from Kolkata to join soon
after marger of ISL and I league, what should be the ideal structure of lower divisions? what you guys say? also I would like to see two a cup tournament involving lower division clubs and merged league.

They haven't submitted any to AIFF on the ITC the last time I enquired
I think AIFF should make 2nd Division a Indian only event.
