Whose academy? EB academy opening date is 5th December last I knew. It's in rajarhat/new town area. But that's where just the residential place would be. The boys will practice at EB ground using the team bus.
That will make absolute no sense....surely a ground near new town can be managed...maybe tie with a local school/college...which will also take care of education for academy students......
Tut tut, EB fans don't know they are having a 3 storied training facility in Salt Lake sector V with Gym and dining facilities in ground floor, 30 nos accommodation in upper floors. They will stay there and train in Bidhannagar Municipal Ground, a team bus ferrying them to and fro. Appear for their school exams in private capacities. Another 10 kids will train as day scholars and be ready to step in in case of a drop out.
All this in association with Bidhannagar Municipality. And this is separate from the senior team.
