It s not possible to do that. The encoding is much different and has been done to prevent piracy. That said, have seen clips that seem to have been decoded from TV recordings but could never find how to do it. You may wanna ask it on some piracy forums if there are any.

Anything is possible...u just need the need to find the required softwares. Take out the storage device from the STB and connect it to the motherboard of your desktop comp via the SATA cables if the system doesnt detect usb connection with your hard drive. Open the drive and just play it,
I am getting a lingerie advertisement from ask me bazar in every thred. Can't upload anywhere, so can't give you the screenshot. But it is making the threads sexy .
Actually this advertisements in-between two posts ( last one , and the 2nd last ) is annoying. Quite often I am clicking those advertisement. Specially when I am scrolling down the page. If the ads stay either at top or bottom, then that would be much helpful.
