You all may know about Mike Havenaar, the Japanese striker born of Dutch expats. He plays in the Eredivisie & Japan national team.. I was wondering whether we have any expat's son playing football in any of our club's age group teams or academies and might go on to represent India in nature..
Recent examples that come to my mind is Chukwudi Chukuwuma who's now in Europe. A few years back Mohun Bagan U-19 captain was a Dutch guy Benjamin Boers..He's studying in Australia now and out of football i guess..Bagan U-16 team also had South Korean Samuel Moon..He's just finished school. Are there any such examples anywhere else right now?
"We have not thought about sacking Stephen. Let's first finish the June match (against Laos), and then the technical committee will meet. Until June, Stephen continues to be in charge," said AIFF general secretary Kushal Das.
They should not even give such statement that until June, Stephen is in charge. That puts pressure on him. This Laos match is more crucial and must-win for India.
