Munna indian coaches are mostly suitable for assistant coach role.coming to foreign coaches they have give much better results then indian coaches .Even in junior world cup winning team coach oltman played key role. Many gave credit to harendra singh
Finally,Some Courtesy Coming in our Players and Staff.
Recenly,a function took place where Badminton Players(after World Championships) were fecilitated. Vijay Goel(who received heavy criticism at Rio Olympics) should be applauded here because he was the incharge and he decided to felicitate even the the Likes of Srikanth(Even though Srikanth wasn"t able to earn a medal). In the past, only the Medal Winners would have been fecilitated but he made sure that Srikanth was also present alongside Saina and Sindhu, which is quite praise worthy to be honest. So,he must be given the credit for this act of his.
Now,Coming To our Players. It seems,Vinesh Phogat has apologized on Twitter to her fans/Indians.She says(in Brief),she is sorry for her poor perfomance at World Championships and she"ll make sure that she removes all the possible negatives from her game for future events. This is a sign of a true fighter and a class player. This is what i personally like about Vinesh. This means, she would have evaluated her fight and would have that guilty feeling/Sinking feeling which she wanted to share in order for her to feel better. This is just the right attitude and perhaps this is the reason for which i rate her higher than Sakshi.
Now,Coming to very important and Significant Development. It seems Indian Hockey Team"s Head Coach spot is quite sought after.According to Sources quite a few High Profile Coaches seem interested to take the job and have inquired about the same.
Now Guys,i had shared with you a few days back about Weightlifting Standard.I said that, couple of our Weightlifters(specially in Women"s category) being Medal prospects/hopes at World Events/Olympics where not everyone of you seemed convinced.
A news has come in which basically reiterates my point and judgement and leaves us hopeful regarding the possibility of Medal(s) at Global Events.
Our Women"s Weightlifters Mirabai Chanu(womens 48 kg) and Sanjita Chanu(53kg) and M. Santoshi(53kg) have qualified for next year"s CommenWealth Games. They did it in a Commonwealth Qualifier Tournament where they were competing against lifters of Commonwealth Nations, where the primary objective was perhaps just to qualify and Athletes generally don"t give their 100%.They generally give around 85-90%.
Now,what is quite interesting is the weight total lifted by them which basically reiterates what i have been saying:
1)Mirabai Chanu(48kg)-She Lifted 189kg and won Gold. Just to draw a Comparison. The Bronze Medal Winner at Rio Olympics had lifted 188kg meaning she is certainly a Medal Hope for us in future Olympics as she would have earned the Bronze with this lift at Rio.She has Lifted 189 at Commonwealth Level, where the competition is quite easy so she wouldn"t have even felt the need to do more. So,in my opinion,Come the Bigger Competitions she is likely to lift more which certainly makes her a Medal Prospect and one to watch out for in terms of earning Medals for us.
2)Also,Sanjitha Chanu and M. Santoshi(Both 53kg) won Gold and Silver respectively and have qualified for Commonwealth Games. Sanjita lifted 195kg and M. Santoshi lifted 194kg.
Just to draw a Comparison.Based on Rio Olympics Sanjitha would have finished 5th and Santoshi at 6th place. They would have been placed behind:-
3rd place lifter-199kg 4th place lifter-197kg
and after them Sanjita and Santoshi.
So,my point being that these girls/ladies are coming within the medal bracket based on their performance in Competitions where Athletes generally keep more in store and don"t give their 100%.So,come the big competitions, with these Athletes giving their 110% they will definitely be competing for Medals(No Doubt) which also means we can hope/expect for Medal(s) in weightlifting too(specially in 48kg and 53 kg category) which basically diversifies our medal Winning Sports for the likes of Olympics and World Championships which is quite a good news.
