Because, it will be very difficult for any team to come back to a particular country just to play one match. Also, one day is sufficient for recovery of Hockey players if they have to play two matches.
Ultimately Result matters. However, we were lucky as hell today to win today's match. Belgium were easily the better team. In my opinion, they are a class above us(in general) . We were very poor. However,I won't be complaining because even the best teams have to be lucky in order to get a positive result against Belgium.
