East Bengal FC continued their transfer spree as they roped in midfielder Eugeneson Lyngdoh from Bengaluru FC and retained goalkeeper Mirshad K from last season.
Eugene has been one of BFC’s longest serving players and appeared in 5 matches for the club last season. He has also played for clubs like FC Pune City and ATKFC in the past.
Mirshad was impressive under the bars for East Bengal last season. He went from being 3rd choice at the start of the season to being the team’s no 1 goalkeeper at the end of it. He kept 2 clean sheets in 7 appearances and chipped in with vital saves.
Dont know why ATKMB need anymore foreigners when they have already 6 i think. But these are the kind of Asians we need to sign for ISL. Thitipan is a top player who played in J-League last season.
Atk are in hunt for an Asian midfielder so it can be him. If the rumours are to be believed then atk could have 8 foreigns including Thitipan and tiri (both are rumoured to be atk targets). If this is the case then they might loan out their foreigner or may keep them non registered as back up in case of injury.
