    No need to play for 90 minutes if you're a fragile player like Brandon. Save him for the tougher games

    In National Team games, such players will get exposed if they cannot play 90 minutes in Domestic Football at 26 years of age.
    It is vital for their own betterment and career.

    I heard Brandon had a knock in the preseason and he is only coming back to full fitness. May be that's why coach is not risking him. Plus this is not the time to decide if he is fit to play 90 mins in international football. Everyone is back from a long layoff..

    Then thats the Domestic calendar structure problem due to ISL.  4 mointh ISL and then nothing for 8 months so that ISL remains the exclusive content. What about Federation Cup / super cup, durand cup IFA or any other leagues / tournaments where these teams can play? nothing ? National team camp / friendlies nothing.
    In this system, every footballer will have fitness issues


    Knock in the pre-season -
    Then coach should be honest and update on injury concern about footballers. Fitness and injuries are a factor in getting selected for National Team. Hiding it is not professional

    I am not criticising Brandon. The present situation is actually harming talented Footballers like Brandon who deserve much better.
