Brisbane , Australia will be hosting 2032 Summer Olympic games.
I never expected cities like Atlanta , Rio & Brisbane will be given chance to host Olympic games. Building/creating infrastructure for Olympics games will be burden for countries like India, but I want this to happen as it sets stage for all budding Athletes . Also it will improve tourism in long run.
Along with 2000 Sydney Olympics, Australia has hosted 1956 Melbourne Olympics.
Most of us know, Sydney & Melbourne has best sports facilities, rightly they have awarded hosts. But I'm surprised & happy to see Brisbane in the list. Brisbane has submitted bid for 1992 Olympics as well(Barcelona games) and they lost to Barcelona (host) & Paris(2nd in voting)
Qatar to play USA today in Gold cup semis. I am looking forward to this game as there is a watch party for live viewing after my weekly league match. This Qatar team has been phenomenal so far. We were so lucky that Akram Afif was not there against. His goals have been pure class! Aziz and Abdel have scored some really good goals. I am very happy that we frustrated those guys and did not let them score against us.
It would be good if Qatar wins against USA and then the Championship. It would open doors for other Asian teams.
I always rate this Qatar team higher even when most of the IFN guys said this Qatar team is over-rated & mocked them. We should appreciate our Indian team defending against Qatar in both the games.
