  • I've put a results/tables page up for this competition on my site now to save me having to keep posting just a few results here and there. Also, gives a better overview of the tournament.

    <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.roonba.com/indiawomen2011.htm">http://www.roonba.com/indiawomen2011.htm</a><!-- m -->

    It will be updated after each round of matches.

    Cool

    AIFF site has now been updated with all results from clusters I-IV. Assam qualified for the quarter-finals. There are a few results that are different, so I will check my sources again.

    EDIT: Assam beat Uttar Pradesh 2-1, not 3-1 as I said earlier.
    The missing result - Assam v Karnataka finished 1-1 on 29th April.

    Punjab 1-0 Tamil Nadu on AIFF site. I managed to find this info on that match in Hindi, can anyone help with the translation?

    तमिलनाडु ने पंजाब को हराया : तमिलनाडु ने पंजाब पर रोमांचक जीत दर्ज की
    पंजाब के खिलाड़ी कभी डिफेंस खेलते तो कभी अटैक
    पंजाब के खिलाड़ी कभी डिफेंस खेलते तो कभी अटैक
    एक-एक कर उस पर सात गोल चढ़ते गए
    तमिलनाडु की झांसी रानी ने चार और सुकन्या ने तीन गोल किए

    The hindi version speaks something else. It says that Tamil Nadu defeated Punjab by 7-0 The scorers were Jonsy Rani 4goals & Sukanya 3goals. <!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt=":roll:" title="Rolling Eyes" /><!-- s:roll: --> <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

    Thanks - I also had the score as 7-0 to Tamil Nadu. I think if the report even mentions the scorers, then we must believe this and not the AIFF. It's quite a difference between 7-0 and 0-1!

    AIFF also had Goa beating J & K 16-0, but it was actually 14-0, and they have now changed that.

    In yesterday's matches, Kerala beat Rajasthan 13-0 and Arunachal Pradesh lost their first ever match in the women's championships, 0-6 to Haryana.

    The guy who updates the AIFF Site surely has a problem with mathematics. I wonder whether he bribed his way out in mathematics from school. He cant count properly & nor can differentiate between 7 & 1. <!-- s:twisted: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_twisted.gif" alt=":twisted:" title="Twisted Evil" /><!-- s:twisted: --> <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

    Is there a mini competetion going on where we can see who can score more goals and who can concede the most?

    Even in 2nd div I league, Royal Wahingdoh facebook claims that some of the scorers mentioned in AIFF website is wrong and they have video evidence also... <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: -->

    What the hell is wrong with the aiff site. I think that the man who maintains the site is not at fault but he is provided with incorrect information.
