Thanks for that. So the score was right, just the teams were the wrong way round. Strangely, I think you may have made the same mistake with Jharkhand and Assam. Assam beat Jharkhand 4-0 as far as I know (you have Jharkhand beating Assam 4-0).

West Bengal beat Kerala 6-1 according to bhaskar.com (which mentions all the scorers - so I trust this report more), and 5-1 according to footballkerala.com (haven't seen 4-1 mentioned anywhere). Orissa 4-0 Haryana is correct.

For West Bengal v Haryana, I will get that result soon. I notice you write 5-1 here (not sure), but on Twitter, you have written that West Bengal won "either 4 or 5 nil". That's 3 different possibilities, so I'd rather wait for confirmation of that result before I put it on my site.

I have a question for the forum users who are more familiar with Indian football.

What difference is there between the teams that take part in the Women's Senior Championship and the teams that take part in the National Games (won by Orissa/Odisha)? Also, what about the men's teams in the National Games - are they the same players used in the Santosh Trophy?

The teams that qualify for the Quaters in Senior Womens Nationals become a part of the National Games.
So for the upcoming National Games.
Goa, Manipur, Jharkhand, Assam, West Bengal, Orissa, Kerala and Haryana will be taking part.

About Goa: The present squad playing in the Santosh trophy (women) will be the same for the nationals( i m not sure if women football is included in nationals) but in men the squad will change depending upon the availability of other top players who are playing for clubs. I am not aware of the situation in other states.

Any Bengalis on here that could maybe find the correct results for West Bengal's 2 quarter-final group matches? West Bengal v Kerala (4-1, 5-1 or 6-1) and West Bengal v Haryana (4-0, 5-0 or 5-1). It's amazing that such a simple thing as the final score cannot be reported correctly.
