  • Rikki Bains would never make the team. We are better than the 10th level of English football. Aman Verma can just about make it but is the Maltese Premier League that much better than I-League. Yes.

  • Prince recently has been called up for Indian national side acc. to his wiki

    > Just watched some videos on Luciano Narsingh and Harmeet singh, who were both born in Europe. The talents in these guys are immense and abundant. If only our country's dual citizenship rules were reversed, we'd have so much more potential as a team. Harmeet was even ready to consider playing for us. The list also goes on for Netan Sansara, Michael Chopra, Rikki Bains, Prince Rajcomar and Aman Verma.

How would we as a team has so much potential? A real team can only have potential when they can produce players and not rent them. These at best are quick fix solutions, as a footballing nation (which develops its own sportsperson) it hardly helps.

Ya, it works so well for Pakistan... let us just develop our own men instead of stealing from other countries. None, and I mean NONE of those already internationals like Harpreet would ever join India, despite them saying they would, because they have better chances abroad or with another national team. And if you look at the foreigners we have you would see that almost none of them would even make the team (exception of only 2-3).

    City talent attracts Bhutia Schools

Portuguese coach Jose Tavares is in Chandigarh for 3-day coaching camp as an initiative of Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools.

Even on a day as hot as any in the recent times, to feel and express their love for soccer, an army of football fans, more than 150 in numbers, both boys and girls, fought out a compelling, ferocious and equal battle and clamored for attention from Jose Tavares, who holds a UEFA ‘B’ Coaching License, at the Sector 17 football stadium.

Those three hours of pure mayhem and delightful visuals highlighted what was to come in the coming two days of the free coaching, as a part of Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools, for the local children aged between 5 to 16 years of age. The registration figures, more than 300, were very encouraging and are expected to swell in the coming hours
