AFC Cup matches dont need floodlights. Heck even the AFC Champions League qualifier between Dempo and Al Saad in Qatar was played during the day. As long as the pitch at Tilak is good and the dressing rooms and requiered staff are gotten then the Tilak will be fine.
I seriously cant wait to see Dempo have actual home advantage in Asian competition.
@Arsenalkid700 the pitches where afc match will be played they need to have proper lighting. But that dosn't meam that matches have to be played under lights.

Its Goa though. There are not many big buildings near the Tilak Stadium. If its sunny or cloudy you should easily be able to play at the Tilak without much problem.

Oh I get you now. They can still start the match for 2:30 or 3:00. Dont think they will need to lights then but ya they probably dont want to play at that time. Okay, surprised it took me that long to see that.

Joyptan is right. Even if you play in daytime, stadium needs to have floodlights and they have some tough requirements regarding Dressing rooms etc.

You can say Chillax for the AFC Cup but you guys cant play in the AFC Champions League because the placings will be completed in November (early/mid).
