All India Football Federation was formed in 1937 I think. but it took them 60 years to organise National Football league. Arab nations got FIFA recognition in 70s and they were able to professionally organise leagues in 1970s itself. We were literally sleeping between 1970 to 1990 when all other Asian countries were becoming professional.
Anyway can't we also offer more. Like rights to advertisement during the national team games, name on practice jerseys, and possibly the naming rights to the I-League or something like that.

True but its arguable that today the Arab leagues are a lot better than in the 80s or 90s.
