Hm, I am not sure. I mean for the semi-finals ya but for the final I feel it should be at the home venue of the highest placed team. I dont think fans will attend a final held at a neutral venue.

Ten action also telecasts indian teams matches which are orgnized in india.
2- DD SPORTS -
Dd telecasts santosh trophy playoffs, and sometimes indian teams matches which are orgnized in india.
3-NEO PRIME -
Neo prime aired 2012 nehru cup.
And also aired a interview of Bhaichung Bhutia, but after this they take no further interest in Indian football.
4-MATCHES IN OTHER COUNTRYS -
When Indian team goes to play in any other country most of the time matches were not telecasted in India.
5-NEW SPORTS CHANNELS -
The newest sports channel in India is Sony Six by Msm, Sony six used to air Rugby (no dis respect to other sports) which is not a popular sport in india but They are still not taking interest in indian football.
Ess to launche a new sports channel very soon called STAR SPORTS 2 but i don't think they will give importance to Indian football.
6-NEWS COVARAGE -
When Indian cricket team (no disrespect) won every channel coverse it, but the news of indian football team is only covered by dd sports in khel samachar show.
But the covarage of dd sports is also negative, examples-
1- the news of India's win over guam is at last of indian sports news, and the news of Cycling asia championship and Nri elections comes before it. We are not disrespecting any sport but Nri election is not very important for Indian sports lovers and Cycling asian championship still to begun. On other hand Indian football team won a match with a large goal margin, is it not important?
2- the report of Indian cricket teams match is longer than 10 mins on other Hand the Indian football teams report is less than 1 min.
3- the report of dd sports khel samachar-
Bharat ne Afc challenge cup qualifire ke dusre match ko bhi jeet liya hai captan aur star striker sunil chhetri ke maddad se bharat ne 4-0 se jeeta isse pahle bharat ne bari MASSHAKKAT se chini tepai ko haraya.
4- last time when indian lost to palestine i remember they used this word- PALESTINE NE BHARAT KO 4-2 SE RONDA.
5-IFA SHIELD-
Ifa Shield is orgnized by ifa but its not a domestic tournament.
Why only local news channel-NEWS TIME AIR IT? why not any national channel?

ya...and their coverage was very good..... i remember the first time i watched IFA Shield was sometime in 2004 or 2005 when myanmar FRFC defeated Mohun Bagan on penalties.... Beto scored for MB in extra time and in final few minutes of ET , MB conceded...... i also remember Bayern Munich Reserve team coming the next year....also covered by ESPN-STAR
