that money is not good enough for u20 i league, and also a chunk of it is from Pailan, not AIFF

The only reason we should get rid of Pailan Arrows is if we are able to do two things:

    1) Get the money to create a proper 6-7 month I-League U21 league with proper Academies taking place.
    2) If we can trust that the core of the I-League clubs will actually play these youngsters regularly.

Currently I dont think we have the money to make a proper U21 league at this moment and also I dont think we can trust that the I-League players will play youth. That is why Papas is scouting the U20 league I believe because the team could consist of the better players from the U20 league.

Also look at the former Pailan Arrows group. Not many of them have made a name for themselves since leaving the team and some of them are not even starting anymore.

So, in short, the Pailan Arrows are remaining for a few more years.

Finally a Chennai team is a possibility. They should be called FC Rascalas and their sponsors should be some company called Mind it. Plus the Nehru stadium is a one of the best footballing venues in the country and the chennai crowd always shows up to local sporting events.

The naming was a joke but my excitement to see a team from Chennai was not.
