Common...<div>sunil chetri didnt got a match in 2nd div of portugese.... and if sporting felt he would get some in other 2nd div team they would have loaned him there..</div><div>if he cant break into 2nd div team of portugese league i am not hopeful of nirmal... may be dika got some chance </div><br><br>See,i know you are right in your thinking but if you ask me personally i knew that Sunil Won't play a single match in 2nd Div for SCP.<br><br>Reason-2nd or B team is there for Fielding youngsters for 1st team.The objective was not to win the 2nd div.Sunil didn't play much not because he was not good enough but because he was 28 and didn't fit into scheme of things.<br><br>Now if Nirmal,Sanju ,Dika etc play in 2nd div then they can fit into both the criteria's like they are 22,23,21(they can be fielded in the first team id tehy get signed by Scp b or Benfica b or porto b ) as well as play for those teams who only have one team and are striving to play the 1st div of the portuguese league.<br><br>Nirmal-Muller praised him very much for his display against Bayern Munchen.so you never know what might happen.<br><br>Another thing is that CHHETRI is small for being a Forward.It is a disadvantage for him(not saying smaller players can't be forwards but still is doen't add to his resume)<br><br>where as SANJU,DIKA,NIRMAL don't have any visible disadvantages with respect to their positions.<br>

We have to improve our Youth Development only then capable players will be developed who then will be chased by European clubs.As of now there are no such players in India so all these trails and shit are publicity stunts.<br><br>Look at strong West Asia teams like Iraq,Jordan even their players have been just to places like Cyprus only and not beyond that so these guys simply have no chance,they better improve themselves here and do well for India in important matches.<br>
See, i am not saying that he will do it for sure but what i am trying to say is during Bob Houghton's time we have beaten Portuguese 2nd div teams and some Spanish 2nd and 3rd div teams consistently so it isn't that we are entering into some unknown territory.<br><br>We are jumping the gun at this time and only time will tell whether he makes it or not but i like you think that Sanju and Dika would have a better chance then Nirmal to play abroad specially at the present time.<br>

Agree with @ashindia. I think he gets more praise from fans than what he actualy deserves. Yes, he probably have best long range shots in indian football and makes few good passes but apart from that i haven't seen anything more from him to go and play in Portuguese 2nd div teams and some Spanish 2nd teams but 3rd div teams might be a possibility.
