Kool. Stadium looks good. It has floodlights also. If my memory is correct, some santosh trophy games were held in this stadium few years ago.
This video may be from this stadium only.
Okay, my head is back to normal. To re-say what I mean when I say that it looks like shit is that it does. However it has loads and loads of potential to be a world-class stadium. Excellent find currently however not I-League ready.

If it was to be placed in I-League today it would be no improvement as it would just follow the usual I-League stadium description of "It has potential but in its current state looks very bland and banal" (See Salt Lake Stadium and Nehru Stadium in Shillong). However if it was to be redeveloped with a better pitch, more cleaner looking and colorful seating arrangements, and a cleaner look in the space between the pitch and the the stands then it has the possibility of looking like some of the top Japanese stadiums like the Shonan BMW Stadium or the Yamanashi Chuo Bank Stadium.

So yes, I may say that it looks shit today but I will never say that it has no potential. It can be one of the most beautiful stadiums in India one day if something is done.

Kolkata GPO has launched a postal stamp with picture of Subrata Bhattyacharya of INR 500. After Gosto Pal & the MB XI of 1911 this is third time a footballer is appearing in postal stamp of India. Can anyone update on other stamps with picture / reference of Indian footballers if any?
