A team like Cameroon would never declare their team as the A Team when they only have local league players..They also don't want to fall down on FIFA Rankings by losing to a team like India..AIFF obviously knew about this but this was their only chance to bring a team like Cameroon
Aiff report sad this is a new era in indian football we defeted cameroon!!! But we all know it was the "B" team
anyways still it was a good win, that team had many weaknesses yet they were better than other teams playing in that edition. The team was better than us, individually. But we played as a team, exploited some of their weaknesses in aerial ball, the ground conditions favored us more and with a bit of luck we won. I really enjoyed that win and remains one of the memorable win in recent times.
