If it is a mini stadium with less capacity, people should say that it is small and mini. Why this chest thumping?
Here they are comparing it to Camp Nou and Old Trafford.

Also probably PP didn't get his cut on the deal....otherwise surely the best run football club in country deserves a dedicated football stadium

BFC is free to purchase a land and build a stadium. Nobody is stopping them. They want to get the control of Public Land (Bangalore Football Stadium) which is prime Real Estate- that is the problem. Why will KSFA give their land to them?

The club should build the stadium as is the practice in the developed world and not the association or the government.

Let the likes of Bengaluru FC, Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, atletico de Kolkatta, Kerala Blasters come forward and build their own football stadium.

The government should not spend a single penny on stadiums especially when the likes of Defense, health, transport, and agriculture are crying for more funds.

I agree with Munna here. If BFC wants that land, they should purchase or lease the land at market value and build the stadium.

EB MB has their own 20k capacity grounds, What they should have is long term leased practice grounds with adequate associated infra like dressing rooms etc for the practice grounds.

Problem is I believe that AIFF and KSFA assured that with a corporate entry, they are devoid of relegation for 3 years. In term, they help build the infra. The fucking deal was for Bangalore football stadium to be renovated which would include a convention centre to ensure a revenue model. The club was supposed to pay something in return to KSFA. So, bonanza for both parties, KSFA gets its stadium renovated by leasing, doesn't have to worry abt maintenance and also gets some money every year. BFC's business interests are fulfilled. They have a good stadium for themselves. And make money from convention centre.
But, its not a happy ending. Someone has to fuck up. In this case its Khaleel who got paid shit loads from Ozone. Because they want the land. Its fucking prime land.

Why should BFC buy the fucking land now?
