Bloody hell! Is the league returning to Kolkata? Mohun Bagan enter this round with a point lead, however, they also have two games on both Royal Wahingdoh and Bengaluru FC. That lead could extend depending on results this round... it is Bagan's to lose now as we enter into Round 14 of the I-League!

First off, lets recap the last round and games. Last round saw Dempo draw at home to Bharat FC, 0-0. The result did not help either side as both clubs continue to linger at the bottom half of the table. Salgaocar meanwhile defeated Mumbai FC 3-1. Despite their recent good form, Mumbai could not continue it against a Salgaocar side which was still finding their feet this season. Jaison Vales opened the scoring in the 5th minute before Salgaocar had a 3-0 lead through Bikash Jairu and Rocus Lamare. Milagres Gonsalves scored the consolation for Mumbai.

Sporting Clube de Goa meanwhile hosted Shillong Lajong to a 1-1 draw. Anthony Wolfe scored early for the Goans in the 4th minute but the last place team could not maintain the lead as Lajong equalized in the 42nd minute through Cornell Glenn.

We then saw the two game Royal Wahingdoh winning streak! Their first victory occurred on 29 March 2015 saw Wahingdoh defeat title challengers Pune FC and it was on-form, new international, Jackichand Singh who scored twice in the 2-0 win! The second match happened only two days later against East Bengal. This time it was Godwin Franco who scored the one and only goal in the 1-0 win.

And finally, the last match before this round, saw Bengaluru FC destroy Sporting Goa at home 4-1. Josh Walker, Rino Anto, Thoi Singh, and Beingaichho Beokhokhai scored the four goals for the reigning champions in their best match of the season.

AND THAT LEADS US TO THIS ROUND! And it is Mohun Bagan that will kick it all off as they take on Salgaocar at the Barasat Stadium. Sanjoy Sen's men currently lead the I-League table with two games in hand but they take on a Salgaocar side that is coming off a 3-1 victory in their last match. Meanwhile, at the same time, the reigning champions, Bengaluru FC, will take on fellow title contenders, Royal Wahingdoh, in Bangalore. These two matches could be pivotal to the title race.

The night will end with Mumbai FC hosting Shillong Lajong. Mumbai will look to return to winning ways against a Shillong Lajong side that have been performing way below average this season and could find themselves last by the end of the round. Thangboi Singto will need to prove himself here.

The next day will see Sporting Goa host local Goan rivals Dempo. Sporting Goa really need a result as they currently stand in last place and are coming off a 4-1 loss to Bengaluru FC. However, Dempo, now coached by Trevor Morgan, also need a result as they only have one victory in 10 games. This should be a fiery match.

And finally, we end the round with the first ever PUNE DERBY! PUNE FC vs. BHARAT FC! Promoted team vs. Direct-entry. Top half of table vs. Bottom half of table... ah, I'm to lazy to finish this... YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS! Forget the El Classico, forget the Old Firm... IT IS THE PUNE DERBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
