a no. of suggestions put up in this forum are really good ones & they should not be confined to this forum only.we should make aiff know about these suggestions . For that, we should draft d best ones in to a presentable form.Rather than emailing , we should try to arrange a meeting with some top aiff official . some one from delhi (as aiff house is in delhi) & who could present our suggestions nicely is the right guy to represent our forum. Its a sure thing that atleast some of our suggestion will be taken in to account & will be implemented. Its time for our forum to do some thing for our football.admin, please do something in this matter.

Do we need a poll for selecting d best suggestions?

I think your point is very valid ajmal and probably jitin didn't criticize. I think if that can be done it would be a great thing. But I doubt they will be open to such a proposal. But once our forum grows upto a certain threshold, as in number of active people goes to at least a few hundreds, they are bound to notice us!

Hey Somesh...I wasn't criticzing, i actually liked the things ajmal mentioned, & the members here will be proud to know that Archak,Rudra,Varun have started discussing the points on behalf of IFNF to Nadab Bhattacharya(Prayag USC) on fb, mostly to change the name of the club, location of the club...

@all that group was formed under the request of Nabab da

Nabab Bhattacharya has a progressive mindset. That's why I have hope that Prayag can take some right decisions like relocation etc.
  • New Suggestion: I-League Pre-Season Cup

I am suggesting that the AIFF hold a new tournament called the I-League Pre-Season Cup in which we select 3 or 7 I-League clubs to play in a Pre-Season tournament which spans 1 and a half weeks in a city which has no I-League club (like Chennai or Hyderabad). This tournaments goal should be to put these selected I-League teams into the tournament in a country with no I-League teams and then after the marketing and such see if you can get a crowd for most of the games so that you can attract potential owners. Now the 4th or 8th club in the tournament would be a local club.

So say we were to do this tournament next season. The probable 2012 I-League Pre-Season Cup in the G. M. C. Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Hyderabad

8 teams: East Bengal FC, Mohun Bagan AC, Pune FC, Shillong Lajong, United Sikkim, Mumbai FC, Dempo SC, HYDERABAD GLOBE (Local Club)

Separate the teams into 2 groups...
Group 1: East Bengal, Pune FC, Shillong Lajong, Dempo SC
Group 2: Mohun Bagan, United Sikkim, Mumbai FC, Hyderabad Globe FC

Have them play each other once in there group. Then the top 2 teams from each group move on to the Champions Round and the bottom 2 teams move on to the Fifth Place Round.

1st Place in Group A vs 2nd in Group B
1st Place in Group B vs 2nd in Group A
    3rd in Group A vs 4th in Group B
    4th in Group A vs 2rd in Group B

So each team plays 5 games in the end and the people of Hyderabad would have witnessed 20 games in this tournament in 1 and a half weeks. Hopefully this would drive people to the stadium, specially with the added local team.
