A very bad news.I dont know why they retaining the NT coach.May be for money. Good coaches may get better result with this NT team.I hope Ashley may convince with less salary.Why not AIFF try with him if salary is the only issue.Atleast Ashley have decent past record in BFC club. AIFF became the stooge of IMG-R only ISL may be their priority over NT. Just follow the world football,all NT coaches resigned or sacked after WC qualifier debacle,only indian NT coach may get extension with help of Baichung Bhutia &others. Only FIFA ranking should not be criteria of retention but quality of win matches & technical ability should be judged. Otherwise we may reach 125 rank but soonafter we fall drastically like Rwanda team( Stephan's time its rank 6 4,right now 110). I request AIFF should consider good NT team coach for sake of the country.
@ArsenalFan700 ....If salary is the issue than Ashley may came cheaper as per news source.And also india offloaded u-19 coach or asst coach that means combined salary may get higher. Theoretically we should come with good coach. May be sycophancy is the reason.
Can anyone tell how Real Kashmir did at Durand or DSK Cup? The team seems promising with a decent crest, age group teams etc.. They are also backed by a big Corporate group from Kashmir and a Cabinet Minister
