It is good to see Manolo trying out new players like Kiyan, Ashish Rai and Gill. Manolo has this reputation of grooming young players and Kiyan, under his stewardship (and Owen Coyle's in the ISL), might provide some solution to India's lack of strikers. Along with Gill, Kaith and Lachenpa should have been there in the list of probables.
Surprised about Sana he has never looked the same after coming back. Also Jhingan is back not sure why he does not deserve a bench spot. But Jhingan is not the kind of center back he prefers but you will get a committed player to national team. Also Jhingan IMO is better than Mehtab(he is not great playing from back either).
But yeah every coach has opinions. Hope he could revive Giri Edmund and get them scoring. I am sure there will be plenty of opportunities created by this team. Hoping we get a finisher. Manvir has got a huge opportunity here being the best of the senior strikers to fill the slot. Unlike Liston he is capable of actually playing as a striker. I hope he sets a great example for Edmund & Kiyyan
