DEHRADOON FOOTBALL LEAGUE - 2012
A tremendous Football fever attacks Dehradun, the hill queen of Northern India of Uttaranchal State. The District Football Association of Dehradun announced their 72 year old football league to be started from 8th september. In a meeting at Lalit Place in the city, the 24 participating teams Secretary were present during draw of the league fixture.
Acting President of DDFA Mr. Jagmohon Singh Rawat announced the draw in presence of DDFA secretary Mr. D.S. Bisth and technical advisor of Uttranchal state football referees association secretary Mr. V.S.Rawat. There will be 4 groups in the league consisting five teams each in the group. After ending of the Group league between the 4 groups , top two teams of each group then will fight in Super League.
Dehradun is the capital of Uttarakhand that borders Nepal on the east and and Himachal Pradesh to the northwest
