MG Reliance Vice President Priti Srivastava reported that IMG is close to making a broadcasting deal with a national broadcaster for the professional league, which will be followed by an effort to build a regional partner.
Even though they did not take a decision of the telecasting (I think this was not the right forum to announce it) in this meeting, the other decisions excited me. All the decisions, for example, making the clubs responsible for arranging the home matches, reserving a percentage of income for infra development, transfer fees, will go a long way to enforce professionalism in the clubs.

I am glad that SOME positive decisions were taken before we lost interest in Indian football altogether. I am referring to the negative incidents happening till now like playing water polo in Delhi, SAFF U16 debacle, club vs FA, the Barbados fiasco, no sponsors and broadcast for I-league, et al. though I don’t see any reason why these decisions could not be taken 3-4 years back.

No Sponsors,No Boradcast,No marketing of new season,No dedicated website for I-League,No Youtube channel,Now even 2-3 stadiums will not be ready,No effort from clubs to market and promote themselves(Again website lacking,no sponsors) !!!!

Absolutely nothing !!! Zero Effort !!! Indian Football was far better 2 years ago !!!!

Indian Domestic Football going Fully Professional is just a wet dream(Thanks to Dumb losers)

I agree with you mate. Its high time that the clubs understand their responsibility. Until then we fans have to forget about world cup and we may even see our wildest nightmares becoming true(no ranking)
