Thanks to all of you for being actively involved in the evolution of this forum. We will soon do a major overhaul based on your suggestions. At the same time we are disappointed with the dwindling level of activity. Even many of our erstwhile regular members seldom participate in the discussions, defeating the purpose of the forum. We would request all our members to put in their suggestions for tackling this problem.

i somehow believe that lack of media coverage is responsible for this. until & unless we see the game one can't even comment about the game. i come to know happenings in indian football by the members of this forum who are dedicated for the cause of indian football. hats off to them.

...and to say about gunners in EPL is not fascinating any more.tired of their current form..

durand cup, fed cup & i-league should have different section. btw guys my suggestion there should be a yearwise sub section for each tournament. how about it even though it may increase the nos of topics?

Good idea, it will not increase number of topics if the old threads are archived under a common thread.

Also I think Jitin’s suggestion of displaying a big scoreboard will increase the attractiveness of the forum. This may be done for all the matches involving the national team as well as the clubs. These live scoreboards should have direct links to the related threads.

Dear Members,

We have decided to decrease the number of forums from the main page, we will put them as sub-forums.

Here's a rough plan, do give us inputs on them

A) Indian Football
1) National Team
2) Youth Teams
3) Players
4) Clubs (Every I league club will have a sub forum)
5) Women's Football
6) Others

B) Indian Club competitions
1) I league (Subforum for Every years I league)
2) Local Leagues (League info can start as topics, but with good response they can be changed to sub forums)
3) Indian Clubs in international Competitions
4) Other Tournaments (Subforums for Fed cup, Durand Cup)

C) International Football
1) Updates from other countries
2) Tournaments & competitions (Important events like World cup, Euro Cup will have sub forums)
3) Club Football (Sub forums for EPL; if other leagues are discussed we will have sub forums too.)
4) Women's Football
5) Others

D) Member's Corner
1) Chatroom (Introduction thread will go here)
2) Fun Stuff
3) Fight Club

E) Forum Stuff

1) Announcements
2) Feedback

We are not drastically reducing the numbers, but things will change in a gradual manner.
Do keep faith, we are trying to bring in exciting reforms both in forum and the blog before the start of I league.
• good plan ..go ahead!!
i think we don't need sub forums for all epl clubs bcoz it is inactive. therefore a single epl forum is required.

In fact I think we do not need to discuss EPL/ La Liga/ Bundesliga here in Indian Football Network Forum, for that we may go elsewhere (sounds a bit radical though).

no i guess its about Indian fans and if Indian fans want to discuss this in a separate forum, there's nothing wrong in it..that freedom should be there
