300 crore annually..  it is too good..

AIFF sold it's rights to IMG Reliance.. 700 cr for 15 years deal...  ( yearly Avg : 46.7 crores :) )...  even we get 100 cr/ year .. it is an good amount... Below is the complete article.. have used google translator

India is 300 crore, how much is Bangladesh?

Joining the Saudi alliance, India is getting huge amount of donations. One of the members of the alliance is received!

India is getting a grant of Rs 300 crore by joining a new Saudi football-led coalition. One daily in India told the news. Naturally the question arises, what is the achievement of Bangladesh joining this alliance with India?
The new Football Association was formed on Friday in front of the slogan of collaboration with football development. South Asia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Yemen together with the allies of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in South Asia.
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Kazi Salahuddin and general secretary Abu Naim Sohag were present at the program. Salahuddin did not want to say anything more about Saudi Arabia back. He simply said, 'Saudi Arabia called us. We went They want to do something about football development. We have gone. '
The news that came out in the Indian newspapers is quite surprising. Indian football federation president Prafulla Patel was invited in Saudi Arabia like Salauddin, vice president Subrata Dutt and secretary Kushal Das. Prafulla Patel could not go to Saudi for special reasons. It is said in front of the present person or by pushing a document and signing it. A few exhausted Indian footballers first thought that it might be a conflicting organization with the Asian Football Confederation. They did not have the presidency - by showing this reason they also told their helplessness to sign. They said that they can not sign on such a contract without the approval of the Indian Football Federation Board.

Joining the Saudi Football Alliance, India will get a grant of 300 million!

But the organizers said that if joining this organization, Indian football would be profitable. If you join it, India will be given a grant of Rs. 300 crores annually. In the academy and infrastructures sector, a lot of money was made. After this, they were asked to join the alliance on conditional terms.
Why Bangladesh joins this alliance, it has not yet been opened. None of the BFF president and general secretary have opened their mouth. But Salahuddin told the wishes of Saudi Arabia to promote football in the first light yesterday. If Bangladesh Football gets involved in joining the alliance of Petro-Dollar Saudi Arabia, it will be a great deal.

I think we should all look at positive side from a football fan perspective. We get to play tougher opponents. Staying in SAFF will not lead to any development.

    yah... you are right..

If we consider performance/skill of U 16 teams in last few years.. we can defeat teams like Saudi, UAE, Kuwait & Yemen.. and our team is far better than Bahrain ...

    U 16:
starting from 2002 .. we qualified 5 times for AFC U 16 finals... which is decent thing.. considering our structure ... only problem with the transition.... these U 16 are not nurtured properly... without proper youth league it is not possible...

    U 19:
Starting from 2008, we never qualified for AFC finals... and in 2006, we are hosts... where-as teams like UAE, Saudi & Yemen doing good in U 19 AFC qualifiers & finals... even Bahrain and Kuwait qualified for finals in this time period..

If SWAFF forms, we will beneficial in all aspects... starting from competitive games for national teams to Junior level tournaments...  If we do well in  SWAFF cup (senior and level), our players may end-up getting contracts in those leagues/academies... it's better to play in UAE/Saudi leagues than I-League/ISL..

Let's hope for good.. also financial aspect.. is icing on cake ..

Expectedly, people are succumbing to the talk of that much money. But do you think people who do not have any coherent thought about the roadmap of their football will spend it judiciously? They are bound to squander it.

In any case this is a bribe to PP & Co. They will pocket the lion's share of it. Loot it. They will announce numerous sham schemes to siphon off the money. SWAFF HQ would not bother at all. They  CANNOT be bothered about progress of Indian football. The purpose of this new grouping is to corner/ isolate Iran. Nothing else.

Also, this is a step laced with politics of Iran vs Saudi Arabia. If India joins, then AIFF is dragging India into taking sides, which GoI would not agree under this unstable period of international politics.

That, IMO, is a more sensible grouping.
