Of course, it is the fault of the management: all through the history, they didn't give freedom to the Coach towards building team, yet expected result. It is all very unprofessional, even after Quess coming onboard.
That said, I don't think Khalid could have delivered. A coach who depends on prayers and black magic (not to forget the 'gir ja' technique) more than the regular drills, strategizing and game reading, doesn't evoke much confidence.
Khalid Jamil is not fit to be a coach for a big club like EB, or for that matter, MB.
EB made a mistake in not keeping Trevor Morgan for longer. Yes he didn't win the league but he still brought some silverware. Khalid was a mismatch to EB bcos of the negative football he brings compared to what EB fans expect.
EB needs to stop thinking that just bcos a club is big it expects to win the league.

For me Khalid is one of best coaches in india, I doesn't care what he uses black magic or gir ja what matters is he wins. He should replace Constantine when he is sacked
Yeah you are right he cant handle eb and mb because eb and mb have curropt management but u cant put blame on the coach if ur club has curropt management

He actually was pretty good with Aizawl had a strong back drilled back line and killed opposition on counters and set-pieces
East Bengal couldn't win against them
