according to TD of churchill brothers subhash bhowmick football is not cricket to play just for 2month he speaking against IPL tournament which img is planing
NOW WE REALIZE THAT! NOW WE DO! TWO F-ING MONTHS AND WE SEE THAT NOW!
But why? I know we all want pan-India but why are we rushing things? Delhi I can be okay with IF the ownership is willing to invest hard on marketing etc (basically do exactly what Pune FC are doing) but the South I am still nervous about. Bangalore (sorry Rudra) has been a failure and Kerala needs to be ran right. Chennai's stadium is to big and Hyderabad probably does not have a proper fan base.
Lets just focus on certain markets for a few years and then lets get crazy.
Exactly. I have not seen Kolhapur though. I have only seen one game in Nagpur (full-stadium as well with great stadium), and Mumbai needs more games for the first time in 3 years. And we all know how Pune is doing.
For me if I had to choose it would be Mumbai FC, Pune FC, Salgaocar FC, Dempo, Sporting, Prayag, Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Shillong Lajong and Delhi for the initial 10-team league. 10 teams, 4 states. Yes but that is where the planning would be.
Now I did take out 4 teams. Air India and ONGC are a no brainer and Pailan would just disband anyway soon but the main one is United Sikkim. Great market but I want guarentee that they would be ready for the big time so I would keep them out till they get that airport ready. Then they can come in.
Then just randomly the markets would be Nagpur, Kozhikozide (Kerala), J&K, Ranchi, and Jamshedpur. Then I would have the rest being Nagaland, Mizoram, Assam, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Punjab, and Jaipur. They are not ready but they will, soon.
