Anyone close to AIFF knows Praful and Kushal have legit poor knowledge on Indian football. These guys are here to make money and are doing everything to stay in power
Just realised there won't be I-League Qualifiers this time. While a team will be relegated from ongoing season, no one will be promoted. Chennai City FC is supposed to come back, but I have zero hopes on that.
Instead, from next season onwards, traditional home and away 2nd division will return. I think ISL reserve teams won't be part of it and that's good. The tournament will be fully competitive. Many states have already completed their state leagues like Karnataka, Kerala, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan, etc.
I really want a pan-Indian tournament with atleast 18 teams divided across 3 groups.
@munna219777 there won't be 2nd Div at the end of this I-League. Instead much longer league will be conducted on 22-23 season with top teams from 21-22 state leagues and the winner be will be promoted to 23-24 I-League.

@deepak dedha it's mentioned in this press release. Don't keep your hopes high. Its just that there won't be that mini qualifier tournament before I-League, instead home and away format.

Hmmm not a bad idea more teams will get to play. But out of 21-22 state league only few would be actual winners. Maybe some states should have more teams for the time being.
