Again though it is sad that we have these types of clubs. Yes, complain against my wanting of ONGC and Air India being relegated but do we really think having clubs where the coach... the coach of all people, needs a second job to meet the ends meet.
I understand it before because once you are done playing you have a job automatically but these days we are starting to modernize and have retired players become coaches or officials. Its not mainstream but it will become more common every year. These type of institutional clubs should be banned. Time for professionalism to make its reign known.
Godfrey Pereira was an employe of air india thats whay he can't get more salery than the post he is in. to get more money he needs to be just the coach of air india fc,so he needed to leave the air india job. santosh kasyap wasn't an employe thats why his salery wasn't restricted to any air india post. it isn't that air india don't want to increas pereira's salery,it is just that they can't give an employe more salery than the post he or she Occupies.

And why not? He is doing more of a job than what everyone else in his position was doing. Why could he have not just left the Air India position and became full-time coach?

Rather not to be honest. Love the shout. Dont know why that was necessary? And who cares if he was not high profile. Santosh Kashyap was not either and in fact Godfrey automatically did more than what Santosh did by winning Air India the Durand Cup.
I like the new logo. Just wondering though if they are really Delhi United. They have on their facebook that they changed their name to United Soccer which would be a shame really. First off their is no representation of Delhi and second of all the word "Soccer" is not used as much as football. Its foreign.
However they do go on to call themselves "Delhi United Soccer Club" in later posts so perhaps they just went from "Delhi United Football Club" to "Delhi United Soccer Club" which would make more sense.

He thought it whould be good for him and his family,because air india can't sack him from his job.
