    =)

none of goan clubs are family owned club now
all are seperate entities if you want you can buy share
before speaking you should do some research on them
    or dont spread shit

Ashlesh I am speaking on the basis of research only. Both Wikipedia and Goal.com are mentioning that Churchill Brothers is a Family Club.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Churchill_Brothers_S.C.         Look under heading Ownerships and Finances.

    http://www.goal.com/en-india/teams/india/1083/churchill/info

But then there is nothing wrond in it.  Family owned club is better then a PSU.
nothing to do with shares-as long as there are tickets to enter a stadium to see match at Goa. People talk about banning Air India becoz its a PSU, but ignore no tickets at Goa stadiums for which points are cut by AFC.

wikipida and goal com lol you completely believe in that

if you want to ban you should ban kolkata clubs to
coz east bengal and mohun bagan lall fails in club criteria but goan club dont AFC says :P

Please specify which afc criteria kolkata clubs don't comply but goan clubs do.

2012: 5 Negatives in Indian Football

    http://www.goal.com/en-india/news/136/india/2012/12/31/3636222/2012-5-negatives-in-indian-football

if wanted they chould have made a 2012: 50 Negatives in Indian Football :P

  • OMG Stop this Goa and Kolkata nonsense.

Family clubs are fine. The New York Yankees of the MLB Baseball... the most recognized sports team in the world from America... are a family club ran by the Steinbrenners.

    wish you happy new year

We are not. Most things we say against the Goan clubs are true. You guys don't have people who pay for tickets for example... if you say they do then prove it.

    Dont take it personally.

@munna. Who told you that there are no tickets for Goa matches??? The tickets are there but along with it there are a lot of complimentary passes also. So that part of the AFC criteria is satisfied coz tickets are sold on matchdays.

And Goan clubs always think about the people first. They can easily buy 5000 tickets every matchday and show that to AFC as sales. Thats easy to manipulate. And many guys here say that it wont work in long term. Then so be it. They will close down when they can no longer do it. Whats the big issue in this. Indian football will still go ahead without them as it will do without Mohun Bagan.
