@Arsenalkid700. Agree with you about the South Goa part but I think Churchill Bros should change the name to something like "South Goa United" and not Vasco. One thing is certain that Churchill and Salgaocar have their fan base in south Goa.

For those that still don't understand: Back then goal.com was at a very unreliable stage. They would give scores but very rarely would you get a match-report... you would be lucky to get the line-ups from goal.com and forget soccerway. They only reported goalscorers.
Anyway the old comment section on goal.com was the older version in which you don't need a facebook etc to comment. Just add a name and post. Back then the Kolkata vs. Goa rivalry was at its height on the goal.com comments section. Every comment section of every article would not have to do with the article. It was crazy. "KOLKATA!!!!!" "GOA!!!" You had the old clowns like "Mr. Goa" who would just shout non-sense and others who would also shout non-sense.
So ya. Thats best I can describe it. From then on I started to discover new websites for Indian football and once I came on IFN it was a dream. The Goa vs. Kolkata stuff was dying down on here thankfully once I joined on. Never looked back.

The name is actually one of its strengths... its called Shivajian after the iconic figure of Shivaji... Every marathi connects well with Shivaji, they feel very proud about him
