Too many cooks involved already. You know what happens to the broth...<div>IMG-R, AIFF, IPFCA, Franchise owners, AFC FIFA</div><div><br></div><div>A whole mess this is. Why would even Arrows player want to sign the IMG contract which may prevent them from playing I-league? Why would the clubs let go the IMG-R league pie? I dont see any dough going to the clubs in this model. Why would clubs like SLFC, Rangdajied etc spend money on players to play 10 games a season?</div>
WTF!! West and East conference is going to kill the whole setup. Top teams is going to play 26 games where as bottom team is going to play 22 games, with a fact that a team will play other team now more than 2 times or even 0 times. Moreover, the i-league is being bent a lot to support the IMG league. I just hope, I just hope it fails at its first year itself so that AIFF then completely focus on i-league from next season. This season is already a mess.

I am curious what IMG had in their presentation. May be @gaffertape can shed some light

I was going through what gaffer pointed and I realised, the total number of games played with 14 teams in conference based method is 170 and in regular format would be 182. So, AIFF has effectively reduced the budget of 12 games. Seriously, AIFF is so powerful and visionary that it can make all teams richer by just reducing less than a game per team. :-)) <div><br></div><div>Secondly, considering 8 teams plays in IMG league. That means 14 games per team and 56 games in total in 58 days with game in every 4 days and no rest in between. Is it a joke of a sort? Players would be completely tired by the end of the tournament and quality will hamper by big margin. </div>
