@munna219777 As far as I am concerned, I am not going to panic. I believe what happened was that there was some plans from various parties and for one reason or another these plans never exactly worked out, there were money problems, conflicts of schedules and many, many more. Just give it time.
Last week you were complaining of a lack of website for ISL and now look... they have a website I-League can only dream of... be patient and let things take shape.
"The I-League was originally scheduled to commence in October and the licensing process ended in May. But now that the I-League will be played only next year (in January), why cannot the AIFF look at Churchill's case again and if they have fulfilled the criteria, which I am told they have, allow them to play in the top league," asked GFA president Elvis Gomes.
The GFA has written a strongly-worded letter to the AIFF and made it clear that they are backing Churchill Brothers.
"The GFA in its executive committee meeting has taken a sympathetic stand taking into account the invaluable contribution of Churchill Brothers to the game in Goa as well as the country. GFA is of the opinion that Churchill Brothers be given another chance by extending the deadline to fulfil the licensing criteria and be re-admitted to the I-League as there is time for the I-League to commence.
LET I LEAGUE DIE ....when they were monopoly in india they just slept on their ass hope all the i league officials clean the toilets for isl once i league is gone
Very lame excuse by AIFF. According to the article -Nine teams for I-League have been decided and allowing Churchill Brothers in I-League means removal of some other team. Lets see that which teams have been allowed by AIFF
1) Mohun Bagan 2) East Bengal 3) Shillong Lajong 4) Royal Wahingdoh 5) Mumbai FC 6) Pune Fc 7) Baba Kalyani Team from Pune 8) Bengaluru FC 9)Sporting Clube de Goa 10) Dempo SC 11) Salgaocar SC
I dont understand logic about 9 teams. I-League has more then 9 teams.
A foreign coach will be appointed in place of Wim, that is for sure. AIFF has already shortlisted a few candidates and might prefer a Dutch coach in all probability, it appears.
