The 127th edition of Durand Cup, the third oldest football tournament in the world, will commence in Goa from October 29.

To ensure that no one loses on watching the matches and the related events, there is no entry free and all are invited to take part in the football carnival, it said.
Preeliminary stage matches will be held at 3 Military Training Regiment in Madgaon from October 20 to 27. Two Goan teams are also participating in the tournament.
The quarterfinal matches will be held daily between October 29 and November 4 at the Raia Sports Complex. The two semifinal matches will be played on November 6 at Raia Sports Complex.
During the tournament, the Army has also planned unique displays on various days spread across Goa. Locals will get to witness Military displays and Army Melas, including Battle Tanks and Artillery Guns.
Pep guardiola ko bhi le aao. Phir bhi kuch nhi hoga. Current crop of players ka kuch nahi hoga. They just don't have it in them. That technicality is missing. They probably did not get facilities and thus weren't able to train as our junior teams do. We need to train our future footballers better. AIFF academies can do that properly.
