Well it would be more of a case of Jindals exiting rather than BFC lockdown. The Jindals are still believed not to give upon the acquisition of RCB, if deal materialize they should be letting go off BFC. Also the management is putting a lot of effort on filling up the stadium or like "300 travelling fans" we say today at Cooperage. If they want to close down the club why should they be bothered with such tactics.
So in all likelihood they would end up selling it to a third party. And with Ozone group winning the stadium construction rights they would probably buy BFC off after all BFC do have decent fans following.
The AIFF would be stupid to not allow Bengaluru FC in a combined league. What Bengaluru FC have done in just three years is unseen in Indian football. But the decision is not with the AIFF. IMG-Reliance will give the Bangalore franchise to "the best bidder" or something (aka, Ozone)
We are definitely looking at the idea of bringing India and Pakistan together through a peace match. The purpose of the match will be to highlight the power of football in bringing communities together. I don't think it will eventually take place in Kozhikode or any other venue in India.
We are looking at a neutral ground. We have had interest from Dubai and Monaco for the same. Of course, Dubai is quite close to both countries, and has large communities of Indians and Pakistanis living there, so it could be a great venue for the match. -Kashif Siddiqi, Football For Peace
Change in ownership of a club is very common... JSW will sell the ownership for a Price to Ozone while retaining the BFC tag into a combined league simple.
Either that or JSW reconcile with Reliance and let them into the combined league while Ozone get the ownership rights for Chennai.
