128th Edition of Durand Cup, India's Oldest Football Tournament will Kick-Off on 28th August with a mouth watering clash between Sporting Clube de Goa and DSK Shivajians. The prestigious tournament is set to make a comeback after a hiatus of 1-year and will be played at two venues: Ambedkar Stadium and Harbaksh stadium in New Delhi.
12 participating teams will be divided into two groups of 6 each and will play in League-cum Knock Out Format. Top 2 teams from each group will make it to the Semi finals on 9th September, the winner of which will battle it out for the ultimate glory.
Winner of the Tournament will take home a prize money of Rs. 45 Lakhs where as the runners up will be richer by Rs. 20 Lakhs. The losing Semi-Finalist will get Rs.5 Lakhs.
