Only three guys from Puerto Rico FC are members of the Puerto Rican national team. They are pretty much like the Wellington Phoenix in the A-League. They are not owned by the Puerto Rican FA or anything but by Carmerlo Anthony, an NBA basketball player, and they play in the American 2nd Division, the NASL.

PRFC is just part of NASL's plan to have a team in Puerto Rico, that is it.
