AIFF Academys have remained about the same...no additions as yet

We are still planning for quality grounds, infrastructure, youth development..

still planning for 7-8 mounth 2nd division

still planning for 7-8 month Youth League

..sounds so depresing over all...

The AIFF just need to make a new plan which sets up priorities and rates each one by importance. 2nd Division, not important and not viable (full season or not). We need to focus on the following:

1) I-League. Increasing the level of play through better foreigners. More community involvement from all clubs. Better financial structure so that none of the clubs are making loses in 5-10 years and so no club can not pay their players. Better infrastructure and better media and production value. Also TV money needs to become a factor when talking about revenue. Small sponsorships and gate money are not enough if we ever want to reach deep heights in Asian football.

2) State League structure: Look at the caos that occurred in the Calcutta Premier Division this season.
Point number 2....State leagues ae very important ..if this is carried out even by 5-7 more states and the state league plays for 7-8 months , i would says its a great achievemnt...this will create a base on which you can build upon including youth grassroots etc....

AIFF should give the State football federations a kick on d butt, ask qns why they do not have a state league, why they are not at least having mini touraments etc etc.. how i wish we had stong state football leagues in Punjad ,Andhra, Karnataka, Maharashtra Kerala

We need State Leagues in non performing states. Those State Associations which are unable to conduct any league should be dissolved and new office bearers should be selected in their place. Some states have been non-performing. I am talking about Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhatisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh. People like football in these states-I am from Rajasthan but there is hardly any tournament and AIFF also do not organise anything in these states.
