Brainwashed bhaichung taking the same formula of making the I-league and present indian football status look bad so that IMG's new league looks better. Didn't IMG did the same with I-league 2012-13?
A few more questions I whould have asked is , what is the plan for I-league? How do IMG want to improve it? By starting an competitor league? Why don't IMG ask those same investors invest in I-league clubs? Why don't they do the same hyping for I-league?
Frankly speaking IMG could have 2 months league with existing clubs and few extra foreigners loaned from other clubs. This would have kept all party happy. Also, to get investor interested, they could asked for coorporates to invest in different clubs and allowed to retain the majority of profits (around 70-80% of profits) and rest with club. Clubs would have been happy with extra limelight and revenues (without much input) they would have generated.

Anyways, as nothing can be done now, lets concentrate on positives from Bhai and IMG league in general. 1) Shifting league and ending by dec. No fuss with release of player. 2) Developing infrastructure (slight). It will be good in long run. 3) Valid points about IMG league with comparison to Santhosh Trophy and release of players.

On Negative (which is unfortunately huge) 1) Shifting I-league ?? Results in playing in Summer heat of May and June. Total suicide. Instead shift the IMG league to May and June. 2) Developing infra could have done even with forcing clubs to spent on same. 3) Future Plan for I-league. 4) What is the additional value added in comparison of i-league or by forcing the same with i-league? 5) What is the financial gain for i-league clubs? And the list goes on....

@reddevil87 i was also thinking the same. Thir way I-league whould have gained some popularity (if any) and that whould have helped then attract more fan for the big one,I-league

It would have been dream for Indian Football. Somehow AIFF and IMG have made up their mind to destroy i-league and indian football.

awesome looking forward to indian players with foreign ones i hope cameroon players come in

Why Cameroon???.. Why no Ivory Coast or Zambia or Senegal?

Either way it would not work. People dont want to see the current foreigners we have and no one will want to see domestic league Africans.

Not going to happen. The man is currently in Miami (reportedly looking at the area for his potential MLS franchise which he needs to be retired to own it). Plus there are no teams at this moment and no confirmed investors so how could he be contacted?
