Worst Foreigner has to be Claude. Came with a good reputation, some good expectations and in the end managed to do nothing while playing in a completly different position. That is the definition of failure. I would have also added Cristian Lagos to the nominies... 3 games and 0 goals after a good career in Costa Rica... he turned fat and did nothing... FLOP.

Worst keeper is Sawant. Always messes up in every game and the only one to appear constantly this season other than Nandy who does not make as many mistakes.

I am guessing the next one is worst coach and that would be a three way duel as Sukhwinder and Bhowmick are not coaches but TDs. From the remaining you have to say Aziz. Kashyap adopted a weak side and could do nothing, he is still a good coach but the side was never going to work for him and Jamil, while a massive twat, has managed to keep Mumbai in the I-League, keep his job, and not be as controversal as past seasons. Aziz on the other hand comes in, does nothing, gets the team defeats, misuses Tolgay Ozbey, and then barely lasts half a season. FLOP from Finlands lower tiers.

Worst Indian should go to Khan. Nabi and Chettri have not been as good as seasons past but it would be to much to say they are top 5 for worst this season. Every player has an "off season". They will snap out of it next season hopefully once they get a stable situation. Paite I have barely seen and Alvito barely played himself. Khan meanwhile barely played but when he did he looked a shadow of his former self at Sporting. He added nothing to Bagan and eventually god made him pay.

And Miss... could also add Tolgays miss vs. Dempo.

AIFF is determined to bring professionalism among the I - League teams. Absolutely right. But the Authority needs to be professional as well. A Father who is a shame to the family can't teach his family to be humble, honest or good human being.

Salgaocar was penalised and later on an appeal the same committee turned 180 degrees.

Either they were wrong on the first instance or they are wrong now. They can't be right on both occasions.

Their Official website ranks Mumbai FC above Mohun Bagan though it should be the other way round. Not that it makes a great difference. But this shows the careless attitude of the Parent Body.

Mumbai FC - Mohammedan SC and Salgaocar - Churchill matches could have been rescheduled to same kick off time. The excuse of " arrangements have already been made" holds no ground. They rescheduled matches on many occasions in this I _ League. Even I remember one team coming to Kolkata without being conveyed that their match has been postponed !!

AIFF must come out of their childish way of working and if the responsible persons don't want to improve, give them a kick on the back and get those who really by heart loves the game. But... but... I know I am day dreaming, !!! These worthless guys will continue to make all of us a laughing stock.

@AKB AIFF got the award of Best Sports Federation in India. It looks like a joke but looking at other federations where there are only Court cases going on that which faction or group will head the Federation, atleast AIFF is good.  AIFF is hindered because of IMG-Reliance which is grossly incompetent and trying to sabotage I-League and clubs so that they can put their IMG League.

Why we want to take bad examples of other associations and boast that we are not that bad ? We don't have to look at bad things to justify the reasons of not doing good things. AIFF  has been and is still unprofessional. That has to change if we want to see Football taking a few steps forward in our lifetime.

One can cite 100 reasons of why AIFf can't do this or that... but the bottom line is to improve, the Parent Body has to lead from the Front.

Mohammedan Sporting wants legal action as they think that floodlights were deliberately put off in Churchill-Salgaocar game. Churchill had an unfair advantage going into the game as they were playing after Mohammedan already played one day before.
I dont know how much it will hold in the court of law.

Some suggestions for the 2014-15 I-League.

    1. All matches at Kolkata (YBK & Barasat), Goa and Pune should be played under lights, irrespective of whether being telecast or not.

    2. United SC's home matches at Kalyani should be shifted to Barasat (after 1st March '15) so that these can be played under lights.

    3. I- League Champions (being a Corporate House) should ensure that their home ground have floodlights and matches are held under lights.

    4. Shillong teams  may have the option of choosing whether to play their home matches under lights or not... because of comparatively cooler weather up to February but from 1st March under lights only.

    5. Matches are to be played on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays and Ten Action or Ten Sports must telecast at least 6 of the 7 matches live every round (considering we will have 14 teams).

    6. There should be 1 hr highlight package to be shown 3-4 times in a week of the preceding round's matches.

Members can add up or suggest anything better.
