Atleast good money for the kids and they are doing good to promote age group football. And some of them seem to be 13 yr old and AIFF should have sent some scouts for their academies.

Running League is State association and AIFF job-not of Air Force. I am getting your point that not much is achieved by this 2 weeks event. something should be done by school boards like CBSE to make year long leagues.

@Ashlesh and gaffertpe...before pointing out only to NE teams...just have a look at other juniors team as well. All look buddha than they are.

@Akoi Why 'before'? Why not along? But I guess gaffer is pointing NE only because that is the region that MA Orly contributes players in Indian football. Age fraud by NE players is the reason our junior teams that have done better earlier, beating Saudi Arab, drawing Man United etc have done miserably later on. All the 'great' players Malswamfela etc are. Nowhere now coz they cheated and got trained in the wrong method because of that. But it is also true that our current u19 and u16 teams have a lot of two nuts from NE. There is no regionalism on this forum. What is bad we have to criticize. No one has to become the crusader for his region. We are all in the same soup
