India is going to play a match against Pakistan U-23 team. If India wins by a huge margin (say 10-0 or more) then I think Wim and the team are going in the right direction. But let's just wait and watch.
@7negi 1) I think that Bangalore is not very hot/humid and Monsoon is also not very intense unlike Goa at this time of the year.
2) Local Association who play host may be more powerful in deciding the venue in AIFF.
3) As Asian Games come under Sports Ministry/India Olympic Association jurisdriction as far as funding is concerned, their infrasturcture as SAI Centre at Bangalore with staff, medical facilities, residential facilities also come into play as deciding place for camps.
4) Every Coach has his own liking of place for training. Maybe Wim likes Bangalore more. Thanks to Bob Houghton that Indian Football squads are staying in good hotels. When we had coaches like Sukhwinder singh or Sayeed Naimuddin, SAI Hostels were the place for Indian Football Team and those poor guys never mustered courage to speak with AIFF for better facilities.
For me Banglore is good cause the 1st aim should be keeping the players fit and trying new tactics which is easier done against weaker opponents though am not happy with yesterdays performance after going through gaffertapes comments.later on the level will increase during the foreign tour that will give the team good exposure
