@Maddie AFC has strict guidelines for Stadium standards for AFC Cup. Thats why Dempo pulled out and Churchill Brothers had to go to Pune for their AFC Cup Games as Vasco Stadium and Duler Ground were not eligible to host AFC Cup matches. Floodlights is one criteria. Facilities in stadiums are another requirements. Half Broken Bangalore Football Stadium is unfit for any AFC Cup Games. Thats why BFC will use Sree Kanthareeva Ground for their AFC campaign while they will try to squeeze Bangalore Football Stadium for I-League in order to save money as rent for Sree Kanthareeva may be more. As India U-23 game is not considered FIFA friendly, they are using this half broken Bangalore Football Stadium. I dont think that any international game under "FIFA Friendly" category can be allowed in that stadium. That structure should be demolished and built again but I dont see that happening anytime soon.
