  • Bad result in Hockey. now India will play host South Korea in Semi Finals.
Frequent change in rules and now game has become too fast for India liking.
  • Kabaddi and Athletics seems to be only hope for Gold now. Wrestling is very difficult at this level. Maybe 1-2 of our Boxers can reach there.
Manoj Kumar lost to Kawachi of Japan in First Round in Boxing. Devendro Singh progressed as walk over.

i was hopeful that we will win few golds... but after watching the bout where manoj kumar lost... i kind of lost hope in them... he fell down even without must effort from opponent... i hope rest of the boxers arent as rusty as manoj kumar,,

i am hopeful only with 2 medals in kabaddi..with athletics next best bet with slight chance in wrestling and boxing...

i was hoping for us to win aroung 15 gold medals... not 10 looks a good respectable number given the recent run of our players...

hopefully we at least get some silver medal... getting bit fed up with too much of bronze medals.. we shouldnt be below countries like HK, MOngolia, Malaysia .. hope the 2nd week is where we get into golden gear with silver lining
