too be honest in terms of number of medals it has been a very successful games for us so far..only due to some medals not being turned into gold we are lagging in table..almost every one seems to be winning a medal now
  • African athletes with Arab passports have made athletics very competitive.
India has a good chance in Women's discus throw today on 29th september for Gold with Seema Antil and Krishna Poonia. In Tennis, Men's Doublers and Mixed Doubles Gold medal chance is there.

  • @preetam I was talking about today events only -3 more Gold. Of Course Vikas Gowda, Mary Com will do India proud. Total 7 more Gold Medals should come.
Recently I was watching European Athletic Meet. So many European countries have Africa born athletes. what can they do? Only the top get a chance to represent Kenya or Ethiopia in Olympics-so those who cannot represent their country go and take other country passport. I read about one of them who lives and trains in Ethiopia only-only she has passport of Sweden for Olympics. Same way Chinese players in TT and Badminton shop around for citizenship. I agree that there should be strict rules-like parents or grandparents should be from that country.
