Whatever the ranking and Pot of India while making Draw, what are our chances? After looking at todays performance and team selection, how many countries out of this list can we defeat at Asian Cup ??
Phillipinnes are not the same old team that were once ranked constantly in 190 and below. We have played against Palestine & Yemen and we all know the result.
We could also defeat Turkmenistan and the Philippines and even Vietnam but that would mean playing our best team and having an actual good coach... considering we don't have that though...
Not sure why folks over here bothered about pot 2 & pot 3.... for suppose if we won today's game and are in pot 2.. can we defeat Iraq, Uzbekistan , Qatar.. even N Korea is tough .. all these teams are in pot 3...
it doesn't make any difference (pot 2, pot 3)... even we have good teams in pot 4... this is Asian cup and we need to be best and ready for the worst... but one thing I can say.. 2019 Asian cup will be better than 2011... In 2011, we got two strong teams Australia & S.Korea.. this time it's not gonna happen...
as few folks mentioned here... lets hope we get easier group.. with the likes of Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan
